Does your audience know your services and products?

Marketing your Services and Products

Going beyond the elevator speech
A recent article in the Daily Herald revealed that “Forty percent of the typical service firm’s clients are using multiple providers to get their jobs done…Clients don’t know all the services their provider offers.” Your audience may not know as much about your company’s capabilities as you think they do.

Networking Group
You are probably familiar with networking and the practice of the “elevator speech;” 30 seconds to convey the scope of products and / or services you offer. Realistically, that’s not enough time to tell someone about your business. I’ve attended local networking events over the past couple of years with a representative of a business who I thought, based on their name and elevator speech, was an utilities reseller. I was surprised to discover this was not what the business offered at all. I am currently assessing their current marketing and how to best increase awareness of their services and value.

Are you conveying your business to the public effectively? Instead of relying on one method, use a multi-channel approach; a combination of digital and traditional channels to reach your audience and reinforce your message. An important component of multi-channel marketing is the use of printed materials. Email marketing and social media, while important, is fleeting. Print provides a tangible resource for delivering your message to your audience. Digital printing allows you to print in smaller quantities, and is cost effective. Visit resolution-creative-print.com/products to see the variety of printed products you can use to inform your audience, including brochures, magnets, direct mail.  “Leave behind” a piece of print marketing when you meet with a potential client.
